for the first time, you can choose a clean energy product simply
and easily through your electric bill. Your
current utility company will continue to service and bill
you, and the clean power companies will ensure that clean
energy is delivered into the electric grid in an amount matching
your usage. A line item will appear on your electric bill
showing a small additional charge for the clean power product.

projects and sending a powerful market signal to developers
that these are the energy sources the region wants.
Enrollment is easy; you can enroll online,
call your utility or one of the clean energy companies, or
return the enrollment form enclosed periodically with your utility bill and also available as a download from your utility’s website. For United Illuminated customers and for Connecticut Light & Power customers. You may leave the program at any time without penalty
by contacting the clean energy company you enrolled with.
