When you choose one of these
products, you are choosing familiar clean technologies such
as wind and small, low-impact hydroelectric power. Less familiar is Landfill Gas, a readily available, reliable source of renewable
energy that takes advantage of landfills’ steady production
of methane, a potent greenhouse gas.
Both companies have a 100% and a 50%
option, allowing you to choose a clean energy offering in
an amount that represents either all or half your usage each
month. The 50% option costs half as much; when you choose
this option, 50% of your energy will continue to come from
the system energy mix, which includes nuclear, coal, oil,
large hydro, and natural gas.

NewWind
Energy 100% and 50%
Our NewWind Energy(R) and Small Hydro Electric product consist
of 50% new wind and 50% Small Hydro Electric energy. Wind and
Small Hydro Electric are renewable and environmentally friendly
sources of electricity, which are located right here
in the northeastern United States. We're even working
to bring a new wind farm to New England soon!
NewWind Energy(R) and Small Hydro Electric
can be applied to all or half of your monthly electricity
usage, and costs an additional 0.55 cents per kilowatt-hour
for the 50% of usage option, and 1.1 cents per kilowatt-hour
for the 100% of usage option. |

| The cost of the option depends upon which
product you choose and how much electricity you use in a month.
Check your electric bills to find out your usage in kilowatt-hours
(kWh); keep in mind your usage varies throughout the year. The
