When you choose one of these products, you are choosing to support familiar clean energy technologies such as wind and small low-impact hydroelectric power.

Both companies have a 100% and a 50% option, allowing you to choose a clean energy offering in an amount that represents either all or half your usage each month. Businesses in certain rate classes may also be able to choose a 25% option; contact the clean energy suppliers for more details.

Northeast Clean Power has two options:

  • 100% Northeast Clean Power
  • 50% Northeast Clean Power

These options allow you to match all (100%) or half (50%) of your monthly kilowatt-hour (kWh) electric use with energy from wind, biomass and other renewable sources for a small additional charge ($0.0099 - less than a penny per kWh) on your electric bill.

Community Energy 100% and 50%

Our product consists of 99% wind and 1% solar from Northeast regional sources. We're proud to add 1% solar in order to help drive the market for solar power in the Northeast!

Our product can be applied to all or half of your monthly electricity usage, and costs an additional 0.495 cents per kilowatt-hour for the 50% of usage option, and 0.99 cents per kilowatt-hour for the 100% of usage option.

 

 

The cost of the option depends upon which product you choose and how much electricity you use in a month. Check your electric bills to find out your usage in kilowatt-hours (kWh); keep in mind your usage varies throughout the year. The costs of the products for households that use 700 kWh and 1,000 kWh per month are given below.
